At the Auto Shanghai 2017, we learnt that by 2020, most of the leading automakers would launch Internet-equipped car models on a large scale and some brands would even join the Internet of Vehicles (IoV) family with all their product lines. Since the start of the discussion about IoV technology and its trends, vehicles have been regarded as the "mobile terminal" in the IoV. So information security of this terminal is a "fatal" issue. After one year's discussion with experts from the industry, the SCA is pleased to show you the key points to be concerned to the information security of two fields: traditional mobile terminal -- mobile phone vs. IoV's mobile terminal -- vehicle. Will the security issues for mobile phones affect IoV-equipped cars in the future? Do they have same security considerations at nodes during the process of communications. Can they be solved by same approaches? Or for automakers, mobile network operators, mobile information security solution providers, do we need to think about the security issues separately at different layers and nodes of the two fields? What kind of new challenges will be brought about to our business models? The traditional manufacturing industry has hit a bottleneck. To seek long-term survival, manufacturers are thinking of more value-added services for users. That's why many traditional manufacturers are now proactively trying to shift their sources of profits from manufacturing to services. The appearance of smart home products highlighted the transformation of conventional home products into service-oriented innovation. To better serve users, manufacturers are improving their products constantly, aiming to obtain valuable user information while guaranteeing user experience and ultimately to provider services of higher quality. However, most of our smart home products are still in the smart home 1.0 phase. Though user data are accessible, we are still exploring appropriate approaches to protect user data or our product data. Therefore, this conference is to discuss how we can guarantee information security on the condition of eliminating the security risks of smart home products while meeting all kinds of needs for smart home products.
