Mr. Neil Ding has worked in the smart card industry for over 10 years. He is highly familiar with the entire industry chain from solution providers to product demands, in particular various smart card, mobile payment, NFC, smart transport, smart home applications, as well as smart wearables for finance, transportation and telecommunications. Meanwhile, he is also restlessly studying and exploring the integration of smart card, smart COS, secure chip and smart identification and authentication features with the technologies and businesses in other smart industries, including smart city, biometric identification, third-party payment, internet finance, among others. Once the head of an international smart card association in China, Neil is now the general manager of Shanghai Aoh Smart Technology Co., Ltd., and the General Secretary of SCA, as well as a senior advisor for IDC and other international consulting companies.

Michael has over 17 years of experience in Media and Technology Industry. Before joining Trustonic he was at ARM Ltd. responsible for product marketing of ARM’s security architecture platform and products based on ARM TrustZone technologies. His previous roles include a position with Freesat, a BBC/ITV satellite broadcasting platform in the UK, where he was responsible for UK digital TV standards and certification regime for UK retail TV and STB products.

Michael has been very active in GlobalPlatform to develop and promote the standardisation of TEE technology since his days at ARM. He was responsible for setting up the Premium Content Taskforce in 2013, where Michael was responsible for leading the efforts for defining the requirements for the protection of premium content; Michael was the vice-chair and interim chair for Premium Content Task force, and was part of the leadership team for GlobalPlatform.

Michael was also instrumental for proposing and support the set up of a new, China Task Force within GlobalPlatform, now chaired by Guowei from CAICT, to promote adoption of GlobalPlatform technology and associated compliance/certification regime in China.
