By the end of 2014, financial IC cards issued in China have exceeded 1 billion. According to the promotional plan of financial IC card by China's Central Bank, all the payment cards for RMB settlement shall be issued with IC chips installed from 2015. Does the migration from magnetic strip to IC mean bank cards are absolutely safe? The answer is no. Security is a never-ending issue in this field. Only by understanding the latest security technology and developments can companies secure their products for the long run.
In addition, a variety of new products related to financial payment are entering the market, like non-card payment products and mobile internet devices (e.g. smart home and wearables). So, how to assess their security? Do they need any security testing? How to test them? What kind of principles and standards shall we follow when testing?

The conference to be held by SCA is based on issues mentioned above. It hopes to help financial payment and secure interaction companies which have high demand for security to understand the latest developments in security technologies, security certification standards, security testing and attack testing so as to protect their products and solutions.
